Truly a handcrafted work of art... I am offering for sale a stunning example of either a Salesman Sample Butcher Block Table or an Apprentice Piece. This is 100% handcrafted and very old. The wood is very smooth on top from age, but not damaged. The color that it has gained throughout time is a beautiful rich dark brown with gorgeous red undertones. It is even made with old hardware. Honestly I do not know the history of the piece, all I know is that it comes from England. It's measurements are approximately 5in. L x 5in. W x 5in. H... I bought it originally to use as a prop in my tin toy displays. Once I got it and really took a close look at it, I realized how much time, effort, and energy to make this little beauty. Salesman samples were used at the time so the door to door salesman did not have to Lug around the actual full-size product. So exact replicas were made in the very way the full-size versions were made, just in a smaller version. Or this is either an apprentice piece. Apprentice pieces were made by Master Woodworkers on their spare time to show their skill, normally furniture just in miniature scale. Somebody took a lot of time and care to make this gorgeous little piece of furniture. Like I said, I used it in my tin toy displaysoh, it could also be just put around the house anywhere, or even used in doll houses or dioramas... The possibilities are endless. If you are a person who loves primitive furniture, this one is for you. If you do not have the room in your house for a full size Butcher Block Table (but always wanted one), this is right up your alley. If anyone has any more knowledge on this item, I am always glad to learn. This beautiful little piece of furniture has been cherished for many generations and truly heirloom quality....
Regardless if being 100% truthful and honest will make me loose a sale, I don't care. I am always brutally honest and truthful with any flaws I find. The buyers happiness is what I care about. I have been burned many times buying tin toys/antiques online. People stretch the truth and or straight out lie just to make a sale. That's not me... Every item I sell puts me one step closer to my surgery. Nobody understands how great a gift that is till they're in this situation.
A surgery just became available that may be able to help me cut my pain, nerve damage and migraines by up to 80%! After 10 years of gut-wrenching every day non-stop pain, migraines  and seizures, would you not take that risk? If your pain and suffering could be diminished by up to 80%?  But sadly to raise money for that, I have to sell my awesome toys :(

I am very sorry but I have
been burned by people who abuse the return system. No matter if you clearly state that you do not accept returns, eBay will bully you by saying that (if you do not accept the return and give the buyer a full refund) the buyer is allowed to leave negative feedback which will end up making me pay more in fees. I research, describe, picture and love each item I am selling to a nauseating detail. If you have any questions/doubts about my item please contact me prior to purchasing, not after you buy it and say that you are not happy with it and try to return it. I take a lot of pride in each item I am selling and I am open to any questions anytime day or night. I used to accept returns but people abuse it. Too many people don't read things the whole way, don't look at the pictures I provide, change their mind after they make the purchase, ect...
