VINTAGE TRAVEL DECAL "THE HOMESTAKE" GOLD MINE LEAD SOUTH DAKOTA STATE SOUVENIR

One of the rarest decals we've come across is this souvenir from LEAD, SOUTH DAKOTA, featuring THE HOMESTAKE, at the time the World's Largest Gold Mine.
Produced in the 1960s by the famous LINDGREN-TURNER CO, this decal is in very good condition for its age and rarity with a few creases, mostly on the left middle, and slight corner bending.  The artwork is astonishing and the colors are bright and vivid. It could only have been created by a master illustrator.
The Homestake closed in 2002, and this is one of the few souvenir pieces that remain. It measures 2 1/2" wide by 3 7/8" tall and is numbered S-33 and is in its original printed glassine sleeve.
